After raising a family, I returned to the workforce and joined Hanly Moir Pathology at St Ives where I completed a Phlebotomy course and commenced as a Collector with Hampson Pathology (now Laverty Pathology). After nine years, I was recruited as Practice Manager for Broadmeadow Medical Centre and implemented the following:

Practice Nursing Women’s Health Nurse, Commercial Medicals, Computerised Systems, Achieved and maintained Accreditation, project managed fitout of extension to practice, Granted a Primary Care Infrastructure Grant and commenced the Hunter Women’s Health and Menopause Centre.

I have experience with Hunter Urban Division of General Practice as Home Medicines Review Improvement Officer and Adelaide Western Division of General Practice as the Primary Care Collaborative Liaison guiding 5 practices through the process.

I was also involved in the placement of practice nurses into general practice on a trial basis as part of a SA Health initiative.

I joined Dr Russo’s organisation in 2013 and we gained Certification under ISO 9001 Business and have become a Tier 2 Training Unit for the Faculty of Pain Medicine Australia New Zealand College of Anaethetists. This has been ratified till 2025.
