Hunter Pain Clinic welcomes our third Pain Consultant
Dr John Prickett

“... I rekindled my interest in Chronic Pain
that was initially ignited in the UK, and
have joined the team at the Hunter Pain
Clinic.
I continue to study in addition to
maintaining my anaesthetic and pain
practices. My main focus will be persistent
pain in adults, and I am very keen on the
multidisciplinary approach that can be
accessed at the Hunter Pain Clinic.”
Hunter Pain Clinic (HPC) treats patients suffering
from chronic pain both non cancer related and cancer related . It currently operates consulting rooms located at Kanwal, Gosford , Singleton with the head office located at Broadmeadow . Hunter Pain Clinic is affiliated with Hamilton Day Surgery Centre and Hunter Clinical Research.

- Pharmacological ( managing the patient medication regime)
- Psychological ( appropriate counseling)
- Physiotherapy ( exercise and physiotherapy administration)
- Interventional Procedures (ranging from blocks to spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pump implantation)
Hunter Pain Clinic's patients come from a variety of sources including private and public referrers, workers compensation and insurance providers.
